What is the best cream to use and the right fat percentage to use when making butter?

The ideal fat percentage for making butter is 45%

Below shows some recommended brands and can be used with our Cultured Butter Kit:

Meander Valley Double Cream Lewis Road Creamery Cream

*You can use 1/2 standard cream and 1/2 one of the brands above if the amount required isn't available. This will give you the fat content required to make the butter.
